Jeanne Beacham is President and CEO of Delphon Industries LLC., a materials manufacturing company to the Semiconductor, Aerospace and Medical Industries. Delphon has Divisions Gel-Pak, TouchMark and UltraTape, with offices in Hayward and San Diego, CA, Wilsonville, Oregon, St. and Taiwan and global sales support.
Jeanne joined Vichem Corporation in 1994 as Vice President of Marketing and Sales of GEL-PAK, responsible for worldwide sales, marketing, and strategic alliances. In December 1997, she led a management buyout of GEL-PAK and in July 2000, acquired Quik-Pak as a new division of GEL-PAK and merged the assets of Aguila Technologies into Quik-Pak in 2009. In 2004 Jeanne restructured the company under Delphon Industries to establish a platform to grow the company by both acquisition and organic growth. In 2005 Delphon acquired TouchMark, a high precision Medical Device Pad Printing business serving medical and semiconductor industries. In 2008 Delphon acquired UltraTape, a cleanroom tape manufacturer located in Oregon. In 2013 expanded the cleanroom label line through an acquisition of HTG and divested Quik-Pak.
Jeanne was been given the Diamond Leadership Award and East Bay Women of Distinction Award. Jeanne also received awards from the San Jose Business Journal as one of the most influential women in business in Silicon Valley and Woman of Distinction in Technology. Delphon was named by the San Francisco Business Times as one of the Top Women Owned business in the Bay Area. She is an active member of SEMI, and sat on the Advisory Board of the Kellogg School of Management’s Master of Management and Manufacturing Program. Jeanne gave the Commencement address to the Engineering school at Northwestern and for the Women’s Initiative Network graduation. She has recently been involved as a guest lecturer at Oregon State University for their Entrepreneurship program and the Masters Intern Program at U of O.
Jeanne is a Past President of NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners) and a founding member of Semiconductor Women’s Alliance Network, a member of SEMI and an active member of the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) Board and the C200 organization.
Prior to GEL-PAK, Jeanne was the Marketing Manager at Tencor Instruments and spent 10 years at IBM in Essex Junction, VT, in engineering and management positions where she received multiple distinguished engineering awards. Jeanne received her B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University.
Married with 3 children and 3 Grandchildren. Jeanne continues her love of soccer and is a Past President of the Belmont United Soccer Club, and attending Women’s World Cup around the world. She is also active in promoting science especially to girls and founded the Science Fair and participates as a Judge for High School and Middle School science fairs in Oregon. Jeanne is active in the community and giving back thru both her family foundation and the Delphon Foundation with the American Cancer Society Relay for life and Cancer Ski out, Red Cross, Salvation Army, She Can, Food Bank and The Giving Tree. She loves to travel and enjoys many outdoor activities, including skiing, hiking, boating and still runs half marathons with a women’s running group.
Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Darby joined Gel-Pak in 1999 as the International Sales Manager and now holds the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Delphon. Prior to joining Gel-Pak, he was a Product Marketing Manager for LAM Research and Asia Account Manager for OnTrak Systems responsible for sales and marketing of Semiconductor front-end capital equipment. His engineering experience is a Senior Mechanical Design and Analysis Engineer for Lockheed Missiles and Space (LMSC) and as a Structural Dynamics Engineer for Westinghouse Electric (WEC) supporting military and aerospace programs over a 14 year period.
Darby is a co-inventor for the Gel-Pak patent on Multiple Segment Vacuum Release Handing Device, with additional patents still pending. While at Lockheed he was the recipient of a NASA Group Achievement Award, LMSC Pursuit of Excellence Award, and two LMSC Superior Achievement Awards. He has authored 3 publications and 2 technical papers on spacecraft structural dynamics. Darby has a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Santa Clara University and has completed several professional courses related to semiconductor sales and marketing.
Vice President of Manufacturing Operations
Philip joined Gel-Pak in 1998 and now serves as Vice President of Manufacturing Operations for Delphon. As VP he oversees all manufacturing operations across Delphon driving improved yield and productivity. Philip has been instrumental in the implementation of integrated accounting/MRP systems and drives cost reductions and inventory control. Philip is the co inventor in patent for Multiple Segment Vacuum Release Handing Device with other patents pending. Prior to Gel-Pak, held several positions including Sales Manager and Materials Manager for Park Scientific Instruments from 1989-1998. Prior to Park Scientific Instruments, he held positions in machining shop, manufacturing, and sales organizations.
Philip graduated from Bellarmine College Preparatory and received a BS in Business Administration from San Jose State University. He obtained Lean Six Sigma certification from Kellogg School of Management. Philip is the Delphon Lean Enterprise and Continuous Improvement Program champion and is driving the ISO in manufacturing. Philip is a member of several professional organizations: APICS, SME, SPE and SGIA. He is also a Founding member of The COO Alliance.
Chief Financial Officer
Diana joined Gel-Pak in 1998 and now serves as the CFO. As CFO, she oversees all aspects of accounting and human resources for Delphon and its divisions. She is responsible for establishing policy and maintaining internal controls in accordance with GAAP. She also provides the preparation, interpretation and analysis of financial data, statements and audits. Diana is also heavily involved in implementing and maintaining the computerized accounting system.
Diana has previously held positions within the company as Accounting Manager and Controller. Prior to Gel-Pak Diana worked at Park Scientific instruments from 1992 to 1997 as Payroll Coordinator, Accounts Receivable and Accounting Manager. Prior to Park Scientific Instruments Diana was the Customer Service Manager for Lazorlite Parts Inc.
Diana has a BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of Phoenix. She has also participated in the Crestcom Management Program. She is also a member of GPUG, MS Dynamics Professionals and Accounting and Finance Professionals groups.
Chief Technology Officer
Chief Technology Officer, Raj Varma, is a specialist in materials development across a wide range of industries. Raj's responsibilities include leading R&D activities, strengthening analytical capabilities and initiating new market development programs at all four divisions.
Prior to joining Delphon, Raj served as Director of Technology at Neocork Technologies, Inc., a leading manufacturer of synthetic wine cork, and before that as Commercial Innovation Manager at GLS Corporation, a global leader in thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs).
Raj has extensive experience in concept-to-commercialization of materials to meet end use requirements. He has over 15 years of experience in developing materials technologies for major brands such as Pepsi, Tyco, Gallo, Baxter, Motorola and Procter & Gamble.
Raj trained as a chemical engineer and holds an MBA from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago and a master of science degree in polymer engineering from the University of Akron, Ohio. He has presented more than 20 papers at various international conferences and holds various U.S. and global patents.
Director of Advanced Technology Manufacturing and FacilitiesJames joined Gel-Pak in 2000 as the Materials Manager and was ultimately promoted to Director of Advanced Technologies and Facilities. In this role, James oversees the day to day operations of the TouchMark division and also manages all of Delphon's facilities.
He is responsible for the management and performance of the engineering, quality, production control, purchasing and production functions. James earned his B.S. in Business Management with concentration in Business Administration from San Jose State University. He is a member of SGIA (Specialty Graphics Industry Association) and SPE (Society of Plastics Engineering) organizations.
Jennifer Dossee Nunes
Director of Marketing
Jennifer joined Delphon in 2005 and now serves as the corporate marketing Director. She is responsible for Delphon’s marketing strategy and overseeing the implementation of marketing strategies, campaigns, events, digital marketing, and public relations.
Prior to joining Delphon, Jennifer worked as an independent marketing consultant providing marketing direction to companies
in the asset management, insurance, food, and online publishing industries. Jennifer also spent 8 years at Information Access Company as Director of Strategic Marketing and was responsible for the company’s marketing and business development efforts in the consumer, academic and industrial markets. Earlier in her career, Jennifer was a Business Analyst for Dun Bradstreet.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing and Finance. She has completed additional coursework in corporate management and digital/content marketing. Jennifer is an active member of the American Marketing Association’s San Francisco Chapter and the San Francisco Media Alliance.
Research and Development Director
Victoria joined Delphon in 2017. She is responsible for directing the Research and Development team consisting of chemistry, engineering and quality control. Victoria leads the scoping and development for innovative product and materials solutions for new customer applications. In addition she and her team develop methods and processes for in-line manufacturing innovations for cost savings and product improvement.
Prior to Delphon, Victoria was a Senior Scientist at CooperVision. There, she led cross functional research and development teams to develop new materials and coatings for novel contact lenses. Her work there has resulted in more than six patent applications.
Victoria is a Chemical Engineer with a PhD from UC Berkeley and a BS from UMass Lowell. She also holds a number of certificates including Management of Technology from UC Berkeley and Program Management from CalTech. In addition she is trained as a Six Sigma Greenbelt and in statistical Process Controls.
As the Co-founder of PWP Growth Equity, Chip Baird is responsible for running all facets of the business.
Chip has a proven investment management record and over 20 years of private investing experience. Prior to co-founding PWP Growth Equity, Chip worked at The Beacon Group and Merrill Lynch.
Chip Baird holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS degree from Pennsylvania State University.
David is the co-founder of PWP Growth Equity; he has been a private equity investor for approximately 30 years.
Prior to co-founding PWP Growth Equity, David was a partner at JP Morgan Partners. He also worked at Bankers Trust and Prudential Security.
David holds an MBA from Wharton School of Business and a BA degree from Loyola University Maryland.
Henry Heinerscheid is the Managing Director of PWP Growth Equity. Prior to joining PWP Growth Equity, Henry was an Associate at Weston Presidio. He also worked at Harris Williams & Co.
Henry holds an MBA from Wharton School of Business and AB degree from Harvard University.
Prior to joining PWP Growth Equity, Mr. Leever was CEO of Platform Specialty Products Corporation (NYSE-PAH) a multinational manufacturer of specialty chemicals with revenues of $3.7 billion. Platform was formed in 2013 with the acquisition of MacDermid Incorporated, where Mr. Leever was CEO since 1990.
Mr. Leever holds an MBA from The University of New Haven.
