HAYWARD, CA SEPTEMBER 13, 2007: Delphon Industries, based in Hayward, CA named Keith Taft as General Manager of its UltraTape division. UltraTape Industries, of Salem, Oregon, is a manufacturer of adhesive tapes used in cleanroom environments. Delphon acquired UltraTape Industries on June 20, 2007 to support its mission to merge innovative technologies in order to provide unique materials and services to high technology markets. “Keith is a strong addition to our team”, says Jeanne Beacham, President of Delphon Industries. “His wealth of experience in this industry, especially in the areas of engineering and marketing will be a great asset to UltraTape.” Mr. Taft has more than twenty-five years of experience in engineering, marketing, sales, R&D, and operations.
Previously he held the positions of Chief Operating Officer at Advanced Material Sciences of Folsom, CA and Vice President at Electro Scientific Industries in Portland, OR. He has also held executive positions with Kyocera America in San Diego, CA. Mr. Taft holds a degree in Ceramic Engineering from the University of Washington and has additional training in strategic selling and marketing. UltraTape, founded in 1992 and purchased by Delphon in 2007, manufactures custom cleanroom construction and semiconductor process tapes in addition to antistatic and medical/pharmaceutical tapes for use in critical environments.
Delphon was started in 2004 in order to provide a platform for merging innovative technologies. The company specializes in bringing together unique high technology products and services in order to meet the specific needs of its customers. Under its corporate umbrella, the company operates Gel-Pak of Hayward, CA, Quik-Pak of San Diego, CA and TouchMark of Hayward, CA.
